I have been wanting to hear some Gypsy Jazz!

The guitarist of choice for many greats, from Lionel Hampton and Madonna to Ringo Starr and Wynton Marsalis, Vignola covers everything from Mozart to Black Sabbath. He’s on Wall Street Journal’s “5 Most Admired Guitarists” List and hailed by N.Y. Times as “one of the brightest stars of guitar.”

Frank, Matt, Gary and Vinnie were amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed their music, sense of humor, dance routines and personalities! I'd love to see and hear them again.

Have to agree with Dal that program exceeded expectations. With all the sticky weather recently, being inside - front and center - was no hardship.

Thought this would be good but it was terrific ! The 2 guitarists had enormous rapport and great skills which carried over to the audience.. The music ran the gamut from classical,to folk,to Opera, and on to Spanish all delivered with both humor and backed up by a both wonderful Mandolin and Bass player..Having ice cream afterward capped off the evening..

Lightning fast fingers by amazing musicians who doubled as their own back up dancers, warm and funny stage presence. Ice cream topped off the evening, yum yum....

Thanks for the tip on the New Haven Jazz Festival today. May drop by on my way back from the Shoreline Wine Festival in Guilford. BTW if the Frank Vignola program has to move inside due to rain the Saugatuck School is a very nice venue.
