Hi Julia,

This event looks like it'll be great!  I represent a few fantastic visual artists who are based here in NYC and definitely up for gigs like this.  My main client in particular, Walker Fee, has a great deal of experience with live painting events, from private parties to gallery, non-profit, and corporate events.  Live painting is a fun and inspiring attraction for parties like this.  Take a look at samples of his live work here: http://walkerfee.com/LiveMurals.html.  Let me know if you think his work is a match for the anniversary party and I'll reach out to him.

Another friend comes to mind, Billy Clark at CULTUREHUB. This org facilitates some truly compelling art-making by utilizing new technologies (specifically video art).  Check out some of the projects here: http://www.culturehub.org/video/

If these sound like good options for the party, I'd be happy to set them up! I can be reached at this email address and by phone at 718.570.7548.  Hope to hear back soon.

All the best,

Steph

Season's greetings, dear ArtsTech friends!

I hope all of you are having a wonderful holiday season and wish you all the best in the fast approaching new year. It's hard to believe it, but 2012 will mark ArtsTech's 4th year of existence and to commemorate the 3 wonderful years we've spent together thus far, we're throwing a little anniversary bash to start the year off right.

Please join us on Tuesday, January 10th from 7-11pm for the ArtsTech 3 Year Anniversary Party! There will be an hour of open bar, drink specials all night long, Vietnamese hors d'oeuvres catered by Mekong Restaurant and maybe even some dancing.

Additional details and RSVP info is here: http://www.meetup.com/Arts-Culture-and-Technology/events/45895652/

Also, we are looking for a few great digital and/or interactive art works to showcase at the party and would like to pull from within the ranks of this very talented community. If you'd like to show your work, please get in touch!

Hope to see you there and looking forward to another year of inspiring conversations with you all!

Best,
Julia

P.S. If you have meetup topic suggestions or requests for 2012, please send them my way. We're putting together a calendar outline in the next few weeks.
