ArtsTech is Looking For...

From: Julia K.

Hi everyone,

Hope you're all staying warm! HUGE and heartfelt thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate our 4 Year Anniversary with us at The Counting Room a few weeks ago -- especially Pernod Absinthe for making the party possible and the awesome artists for bringing the space to life with their work. Check out the hilarious Styleblaster photo booth pics and party photos to find yourself or see what you missed!

We'll be announcing our next meetup soon on Social Media, Art, and The "Like" Economy -- save the date for February 20th!

In the meantime I wanted to reach out to you, the members of our amazing #ArtsTech community, in search of your support. We want to continue growing #ArtsTech this year so we can provide even better programming than we already do -- and more of it!

To do that, we are looking for the following:

1. A New Venue
We were sad to part ways with Eyebeam, our home for the past year. The organization is looking to focus on developing their own talks and meetups in 2013, and we wish them every success. This means #ArtsTech is looking for a new venue sponsor that can accommodate our growing community.

Our ideal venue sponsor would be able to accommodate[masked] people (seated), have the appropriate A/V set-up (projectors, screens, mics, etc.), and would be able to host our meetup one night a month from 7-10pm.

Please contact Julia at [address removed] for more information or to volunteer your space.

2. Sponsors
We want to continue growing #ArtsTech this year and keep delivering you high quality programming, interesting and inspiring events and a fantastic community of like-minded peers to connect with. We have some ambitious goals and ideas this year -- from organizing our first all-day Unconference in April to producing a participatory public installation for the New Museum's Ideas City biennial. We are looking for some like-minded partners who are interested in getting involved and supporting these exciting projects, and our rapidly expanding community.

Please contact Julia at [address removed] for more information on sponsorship opportunities.

3. Volunteers
The #ArtsTech group is all volunteer-run and we're looking for some fresh faces to join our leadership team. Volunteer opportunities include: editorial/social media help, event planning, and business development.

Please contact Julia at [address removed] for more information on volunteer opportunities.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and please feel free to get in touch with any questions, suggestions, or ideas. We are looking forward to another great year with you!
