I'm very sorry it didn't go too well this time. Michael. your host, lost his mother at 7am Thurs morning. He had been her sole carer in her bed ridden state for the past six years. I did speak to him on Thurs and at the time he sounded as if he was coping and wanted to do the event but I guess that is the way adrenaline works, and perhaps it all hit home next day. We are all human and doing our best on a voluntary basis, so I hope you will forgive this time and try events in future, as when the group meets successfully, we have a great time.
I always put my number on event listings but it is up to the individual hosts as to whether they choose to do this.
Best wishes and Happy Easter,

Disorganised. It would have been simple to have a PAYG SIM in phone on evening of meetup and give out number on web page, but no phone number given. Organiser did not attend his arranged later-on-in-evening meeting place in the foyer and at the arranged time (due to illness it turns out from an email sent the following day) yet did not post the status at the time that he'd "GONE HOME" on the comments field of this web site, as with this courtesy we'd all have automatically received the email notification. Organiser didn't have a clear itinerary plan posted on web page of the times and location of after-NPG meet of which no further detail given at Chandos.

Was an interesting evening. Bit confused at the end. We waited for Michael at the arranged meeting place in the foyer and at the arranged time, but no one else arrived, though we waited for half an hour. So we went to All Bar One and found the table Michael had reserved - thinking you guys had gone ahead but sadly no. Oh well, still an interesting evening and hope to see you guys at a similar event in the future :-)

So we are meeting at 6pm tonight then? At Chandos? Is there a phone number just in case I don't spot you guys? And presumably we take our own drawing equipment for the drawing class? Never been to a class at the NPG before so not sure of the protocol. See you guys later :-)
