What we’re about

05/18/2019:

It seems so difficult to make female friends in the adult world - especially with a career, family, or even just a lovable pet.  This group aims to bring members together to get involved in fitness, self improvement, attending happy hours, brunches, dinners, wine tastings, and so much more. We strive to provide events each week, and encourage members to reach out and have impromptu get togethers in between!  We hope that we all develop some meaningful friendships and never forget to have fun!

We have a "No-shows" policy because :

·  If there are people on the waiting list and you don't show up, it's extremely frustrating for them when they are locked out of the event you signed up for.

·  Even without a waiting list, people are still waiting around for you at the beginning of the event, and we make reservations at restaurants based on the RSVPs.  It looks poorly on our group when we reserve a table for 12 and only 4 people show up.

So, please be a cool and considerate member by attending events that you have RSVP'd "Yes". Please update your RSVP, contact the event organizer or post a message on the event, if your plans have changed. Not sure how to change your RSVP from "Yes" to "No?" See the end of this page for instructions.

“No-shows” policy

·  Three no shows – you will be removed from the group, and your $5 fee or any portion of will not be refunded.

·  If you are on a waiting list, and you won't be available, take yourself off the waiting list. Sometimes events free up at the last minute, so if you can't make it, take yourself off the waiting list.

We feel that it is fairly simple to cancel a reservation, contact the organizer, or post a message on the event.  Please try to take yourself off the list in a timely manner, to give others a chance to attend the event. Although we have not specified how much time prior to an event is "timely," we hope that members will exercise consideration of others, especially with a waiting list, so we don't need to add a new policy. Truthfully coming up with policies like this is not especially enjoyable.  Unfortunately, we have people who repeatedly no-show to events.
