Comedian Joe DeRosa at The Magnetic Field

From "Chelsea Lately" and "Comedy Central Presents," Disclaimer Underground Comedy and Charlotte St. Computers are proud to present Joe Derosa at The Magnetic Field on March 13 at 9 p.m. in downtown Asheville. Tickets will be available at the door for $7 or get them onlin...e at:

He'll be joined by Asheville comedians Tom Chalmers, Greg Brown and host Allie Steinhoff.

Joe Derosa recently had guest roles on HBO's "Bored To Death" and IFC's "Z-Rock" and has been a regular on "The Opie and Anthony Show" and Fox New's "Redeye." Joe also taped a half-hour Comedy Central Presents special which aired in the winter of 2009, and in 2010 his critically acclaimed stand-up album "The Depression Auction" was released on Comedy Central Records.

Joe Derosa is currently writing and producing a web series for He also made his directorial debut with "Shooting Angles," which starred himself, Bill Burr, Robert Kelly and Colin Quinn.

The Magnetic Field is The River Arts District's cafe, bar, and performance house. Open for lunch Monday-Friday, and dinner and late night Monday-Saturday. Come early to grab dinner or a drink at the Magnetic Field, then get a good seat for the show. Drinks and food purchased in the café can be brought into the theater.
