NC Arboretum Service Project
Volunteers needed! Saturday, March 20, 10 AM - 3 PM. Service project will include using wheelbarrows and hand tools to transport and place wood chips on the trails. Please wear closed-toe shoes, bring work gloves, snacks, lunch and water.
Registered volunteers should tell the gate attedant that they are here to volunteer with REI for a trail chipping service project. They will be admitted with a day pass. Please meet Rich or Tony at the Operations Center. Directions to the Operations Center are available at www.rei.com/asheville.
All volunteers will receive an REI coupon and the chance to win prizes.
Service project is limited to 10 volunteers; must be a minimum age of 16 to volunteer. Registration is required. Please register at www.rei.com/asheville. Sorry, but registration on Meetup.com will not reserve a seat for you in the class.
