Catch the steepest and deepest in high-adrenaline mountain sport films when the 2010 Radical Reels Tour comes to Asheville on Monday, September 13, 7 PM. Hurtle down steep untouched powder, feel the cold spray of stomach dropping kayak first descents, fly high with the world’s wildest BASE jumpers, and much more in extreme mountain sports. Tickets now on sale at REI only: $15 for REI members/$20 for non-members. At least $5 from each ticket sale will go to benefit Wild South, www.wildsouth.org.
One night showing only and limited seating at Carolina Cinemas Asheville (1640 Hendersonville Rd.), doors open at 6 PM. Prizes will be given away at the screening.
