Tell us a little about yourself and your interest in science!

I have worked in science research in both the laboratory and in the field, studying pollination biology, host-parasite interactions in insects, and large-scale ecology. I love anything having to do with co-evolution, especially plant-insect interactions.

Do you have a topic, event, or presenter you'd like to suggest?

Art-science collaborations. Large-scale ecology studies like LTERs, NEON, and the work of field stations and marine labs. The synergy that happens in communities of learning like field stations and marine labs.

I love science and art. I am founder and director of symbASA (Symbiosis Art+Science Alliance), an organization that promotes art-science.
