Greetings to all the friends of AVA,

I hope everyone is enjoying this holiday season.  We have a few things in the works for the New Year and just wanted to let you know.

Lauren and her group are working hard on the film screening. We will be viewing Forks over knives as our January film documentary. The details and the dates have yet to be decided but hopefully the middle of the month.

Jill expects to have a date in front of the County council in January. Her group will be addressing the treatment of animals in county care. We would love to have a show of solidarity at this event, so stay tuned for the details.

Sheridan is working hard on the campus outreach. After the students return to school we will again be focusing on that venue. She is also very involved in the Goat Mountain efforts. More later on the events to come at Goat Mountain.

Educational tabling will resume in the spring and we are looking for people to assist with these exciting events.

Dianne expects to have new banners or posters soon for our events.

If you would like to be more involved in the actual work of saving sentient beings please let me know and we will get you started with one of our wonderful action group.

The bottom line is that we have grown. We are achieving real change in the lives of animals in WNC. We look forward to continuing this work in the New Year and with your help we will accomplish that goal.

The next couple of weeks are always very important Family events. All of us at AVA wish everyone a merry season and a prosperous New Year.
