the essence of our trips is rejuvenation, rewilding and reconnection. in hebrew we have one word for all three: "khi-bur" חיבור. we call these trips "lah-kah-tim meh-tai-lim" which means wander-gatherers. the hiking and gathering are only the background for a real encounter with ourselves and with others as an equal and inseparable part of nature. this is not a plant identification workshop.

how do i sign up for a trip?
read this entire page (you'll avoid unnecessary surprises).
send us a request to sign up. (click on the link)
if there is still room on the trip, we will send you an invitation to write a preconnection essay for the trip.
you send the complete essay to us on time and this way your spot will be reserved!
what to expect?

it is unadvisable to have any expectations (in life in general)... but if you're having some.. either expect the best without attachment or expect the worst and then everything that turns out will be "good".
more experienced participants are happy to assist the less experienced - and the new gatherers come with a fresh mind that sees things that a "used" mind doesn't.
"everything we need is already here" - this belief is empowered in every trip.
the trips allow us the choice to trust in life - trust is the channel of love and persistent participants often experience significant improvements in every field of life: being more present with life, in their physical and emotional well being, in breaking addictions and pattern behavior, in their relationship with food, in the way they deal with hardship and pain and fear, in their intimate relationships...
another way to look at it is to simply expect to fast the entire trip (which isn't a bad idea and makes a good prep-exercise for these trips) and then anything that will be found is a positive surprise.
we walk up to 12 kilometers a day - usually a lot less - but be prepared for it - especially if you or your kids are not used to walking.
people who participated in several trips notice that each one is unique and stands by itself. the ingredients constantly change - the season and weather change, we start each time in a different place and the route is not decided in advance. even when we think we know a place from last year.. drought, cows, boars, fires can change these places unrecognizably.
and of course, each participant is a very unique creature which creates an even more unique tribal social organism.
