“Modality is an excellent term, and as a musician I am in tune with it:) The routine is a modified Ashtanga series, which progresses normally. However, I have arranged it into "seven valleys". Each valley takes about 13 minutes, and there is a standard "ceremony" for each. That way, it is easier to learn than ninety minutes in one sequence. It also makes it easier to teach the eight limbs of Ashtanga, and the Seven Chakras, which are now part of the routine. Come and try it.”
