Here's a Northern Chinese/Korean place I've been meaning to try for years and finally got to try it in April and I really enjoyed it! The skewers and use of bold flavors and spices combining some of the Korean flavors and the Northern Chinese flavors make this a really great spot and so I want to go back! This time, we will check out their second location which I hear is bigger and newer.

If you want the exotic, you can find it here with the infamous bull or goat penis... LOL
This is Chinese/Korean as it is located in Koreatown and banchan accompanies the dinner. Since an order of skewers is 10, we will be doing a table of 5. If there's enough people on the wait list, I'll add a second table.
Please bring cash to pay your share of the bill. This will be family style meaning the food/bill will be equally shared excepting drinks/alcohol will be paid for separately. Please bring $20-35 in cash for this meal. And don't be late!
A small refundable deposit will be required when you rsvp paid via Amazon Payments. If you un-rsvp 2 or more days before the event or when you attend the event you will receive a 100% refund of your deposit.
This restaurant is a few blocks south of HK Market, a decent Korean market that has a huge banchan deli, excellent produce and meat selections. I plan to stop in here after dinner to do a little grocery shopping. They have some great fresh pastas too! Buckwheat, mugwort and various regular wheat pastas that are also suitable for your Italian pasta dishes.
Public Transportation: It is about 3-4 blocks from the Wilshire/Western Metro Purple Line Station.
Parking: Valet parking is around $2 on the side. You might find some free street parking if you are willing to walk a block or two if you look, so you might try to arrive early to score some free parking.
Above: Chicken & Chicken Hearts (I didn't think I'd enjoy the hearts as much as I did... they were really good!)
Beef & Lamb Skewers
Mushrooms wrapped in pork belly and sardines
This spicy eggplant was delicious! Not at all spicy compared to Thai food. But really tasty and perfectly cooked...
Green onion pancake. Yummy!
