If you don't make it in this event, don't worry as I will be doing this hike a couple more times in the upcoming months.

This event is open to 10 members (5 guys and 5 girls)If the event is full, I strongly suggest adding your name to the wait list just in case members cancel.  Depending on interest, I will consider opening this event up to additional members. No +1s please.  Members who have been supporting my events will have priority.

Due to the high number of flakes I've been encountering, I now have a zero tolerance policy.  If you have a change of plans, please update your RSVP to "Not Attending" or email me at least 48 hours from event date so that others have time to join.  Those who do not do so, will be removed from this MeetUp group.

Should you be removed from this MeetUp group and would like to be reinstated, please feel free to email me.  In most cases, I will have no problems reinstating a member if that member reaches out to me.

Also, those members who consistently RSVP for events and cancel, run the risk of being removed from this MeetUp group.

If you have any pics from the hike, please share with the rest of the group. I know that I didn't get shots of everyone on the hike.

Hi Lili and Brian! Check back as the date nears. Because I want to keep the group small, members who have a history of coming out to my events have priority (stated in the description). If there is room at that time, I will be more than happy to add you. Otherwise, hopefully I can meet you both someday.

3000ft elevation, only 3.5 hours? So does it mean you guys will go up pretty fast?

    March 18, 2013

    • james s

I found a map of the trail. The trailhead is listed at 2030 ft, so you're looking at just under 1100 ft of elevation gain.

    • Marty

Nah, this is definitely no Mt. Baldy climb.

      March 19, 2013

  • Yoon m.

Are you going up to high East Point, about 3000ft or somewhere lower than that?

    March 17, 2013

    • james s

If the group is up for it, we can to Sandstone Peak. It's not a difficult climb to the peak.

      March 17, 2013

    • Marty

We will be going up to the peak. Thanks!
