LITTLE TOKYO'S WAREHOUSE/ARTS DISTRICT

ANGEL CITY BREWERY IS FINALLY CELEBRATING THEIR OFFICIAL GRAND OPENING

+

We can grab lunch either at the event or in Little Tokyo and have dessert at Pie Hole

On May 4th Angel City Brewery will be opening up their doors, parking lot, and neighborhood for a celebration of the culture and spirit of the Arts District during the First Annual Angel City Heritage, Music and Arts Festival.  Angel City Brewery will be re-releasing one of my all time favorite beers, their Vanilla Porter, for this festival and I can't wait!  The last time Angel City threw a party like this, the Vanilla Porter sold out same day.

The day-long festival will start at 11:00 am with a ribbon cutting toast, celebrating their opening, followed by an all-star lineup of LA music inside and out, including:

-Reverend Alvin McKinney Gospel Group ft. Sylvia St. James
-Jamie James
-Alysha Brillinger
-Seth Loveless
-The Blasting Company
-Evan Stone & The Bourbon Street 4
-The Martin Guigui All-Star Jamboree featuring Tower of Power lead singer, Ellis Hall.

Seoul Sausage and other food trucks will be parked outside, along with Peddler’s Creamery ice cream. Ten different styles of Angel City will be pouring inside and out. Family Industries will be stationed in their parking lot, creating on-site customizable Heritage Fest tees. Inside, “In Your Face: How Artists Transformed LA’s Urban Landscape” will be on display, featuring a number of pieces from local artists. In addition, they'll be running brewer-led brewery tours every hour, on the hour, beginning at noon and running through 5:00 pm.

A percentage of the day’s proceeds will go to the neighbors at Art Share L.A. Art Share L.A. is a sanctuary for the arts in Downtown Los Angeles, providing home to 30 artists in residents through our subsidized live/work lofts and community access to a 14,000 sq ft creative art center.

There will be parking available for $4 starting at 10:00 AM at 723 E. 2nd Street and 124 S. Garey Street.  I strongly encourage those who can do so, to take the Metro Gold line to Little Tokyo.  Angel City is only a few blocks walk.

This event is open to 10 members (5 guys and 5 girls).  If the event is full, I strongly suggest adding your name to the wait list just in case members cancel.  Depending on interest, I will consider opening this event up to additional members. No +1s please.  Members who have been supporting my events will have priority.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Due to the high number of flakes I've been encountering, I now have a zero tolerance policy.  If you have a change of plans, please update your RSVP to "Not Attending" or email me at least 48 hours from event date so that others have time to join.  Those who do not do so, will be removed from this MeetUp group.

Should you be removed from this MeetUp group and would like to be reinstated, please feel free to email me.  In most cases, I will have no problems reinstating a member if that member reaches out to me.

Also, those members who consistently RSVP for events and cancel, run the risk of being removed from this MeetUp group.

Anyone caught plagiarizing my event or another AG Event Host's event for another MeetUp group will be banned without warning!
