Let's Learn Tai-Chi and Qi-Gong~ Free at Woodbridge Community Park!

What is Tai-Chi and Qi-Gong?

Tai-Chi is a slow, meditative exercise designed for relaxation and balance.  It consists of Chinese martial arts, stylized meditative exercises characterized by slow circular and structural movements and positions of bodily balance.

Qi-Gong is an ancient Chinese healing art that consists of mediation, controlled breathing and exercises.

Describe it more:

There are movements that involve briefly standing on one leg which improves balance, circular movements in the shoulders and wrists to improve suppleness and circulation, learning the sequence of the set of movements may improve concentration, the social atmosphere can sometimes forge friendship and alleviate loneliness and anxiety and the exercise can boost a person's mood and alleviate depression.

Who's Teaching?!

George Huang, aka. my Dad.  He is 74 years old but he can still beat me at uphill and downhill hiking any day!  He has been seriously practicing for 5 years. You can also see where I inherit my youthful looks!

How much does it cost?

How does this benefit me?

Particularly for Battle Royale---We need to relax/train ourselves to become mentally prepared to beat Entourage!

It is important to focus on calmness for maintaining optimal health.

We relieve stress on the body and mind that has been effecting us all week.

Let's have Fun!!!

Good Job Everyone! My dad was very impressed and said that we learned quickly and we looked like experts ;-) We did much better than the senior citizens that he trains with!

Taichi was fun... all about breathing, flowing energy, circular movements, and rotation. Thanks Amy for convincing Master Huang to teach us! :)
