Degas at the Norton Simon and Dinner/Drinks at 168

On the first Friday of every month, the Norton Simon museum in Pasadena offers free admission. While there, we can check out the current exhibition Beyond Brancusi: The Space of Sculpture, that examines some great modern sculptors and how they were influenced by Constantin Brancusi and his use of space and material. We can also sign up for a one-hour tour (that starts at 7pm) discussing dance in works by Edgar Degas. The tour is free with admission. But space is limited to 25 and you would have to sign up at the Information Desk early (no later than 15 minutes prior to the tour). So sign up first for the 7pm tour once you get to the museum by 6pm!

After the museum, we will go for dinner and drinks at 168, in the courtyard under the stars and nicely decorated with beautiful white lights and lanterns. It is within about a 8 minute walk from the museum.

The food is varied for Asian- fusion but not at all boring given their fresh taste and beautiful presentation. The place only recently opened about a month ago yet service is impeccable. The best way to go is probably ordering family style with a number of dishes to share. Cost of food per person should be around (if not less than) $20 if we're sharing. You'd be responsible for your drinks on the bill. Please bring cash for ease of making payment.

This event will be limited to 4 women and 4 men (no +1 guest please).

The RSVP is to both the museum tour and dinner event. If can't make it to either, you should not RSVP. If you made a RSVP and have a change of plan, you must update your RSVP at least 24 hours before the event and not cancel the day of the event (unless it's due to some emergency circumstance). If you're a No Show, you will not be able to RSVP to my future events.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
