$10 - Broadway Bound by Neil Simon at the La Mirada Theatre For The Performing Arts
Please indicate on the Board below or notify me if you will attend dinner.
UPDATE: I have 2 FREE tickets to this performance. (I had a few more of these but gave them away.) Seats are located in Orchestra 1st Row Platinum Section. I will use 1 ticket for myself and a lucky gal who rsvped here will get the other ticket for FREE. I will draw a name at the restaurant described below and that gal will receive a free ticket and a refund of $10. The lucky gal must be present at the restaurant and not have a bf in order to qualify. (I don't want to trouble anyone's bf.) 12 other seats are located in Balcony 4th Row. Who will be the lucky gal?

Broadway Bound 8 p.m.
Neil Simon's acclaimed autobiographical play, set in the years following World War II, finds Eugene and his older brother Stanley trying to break into the world of show business as professional comedy writers while coping with their parents break-up. When their material is aired on the radio for the first time, the family is upset to hear a thinly-veiled portrait of themselves played for laughs. A Finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Broadway Bound cracks open the facade to reveal the hurt and pain behind even the most unassuming comedy.
"A lovely play; warm, perceptive and gently humorous." - Newsday
"Expectedly funny and unexpectedly moving." - New York Daily News
"The writing is superb, witty and hilarious; one of Simon's best plays." - Chicago Critic
