Learning Basic Conversational Korean at Sanjang Cafe in KTown

WHERE Cafe Sanjang WHEN Saturday, January 8 at 12:00 PM WHAT TO EXPECT ** Fun environment to learn and improve your basic conversational Korean ** Besides service cofee and tea, Cafe Sanjang has a really nice lunch special menu!!! Anyone interested in learning basic conversational Korean? With the explosive popularity of Korean dramas and music videos, it seems like Asians all over suddenly have an interest in the Korean language. If anyone is interested in learning to speak basic Korean to start, our very own native Korean female teacher Stella wants to teach a small group once a month for 2 hours each meeting. For 2 hours over lunch and/or cofee at a very pleasant and cozy Korean cafe, you will be able to learn, practice, and interact basic conversational Korean with Stella. For her hard work and effort, we'll compensate her a small nominal fee of $10 for her time at the end of each meeting. Normally she charges $25 per hour but she is willing to do group price discounts. If anyone is interested, or has any questions for Stella, give it a try by attending the first meeting. You'll get a good idea of what you're getting yourself into and what to expect.

Finally, something to add to " An nyoung ha seh yo"! I liked Stella's casual, anecdotal style. Not only did she teach us phrases, but she also taught us their context in Korean culture. Hey, if an ADD guy like me can learn something, then so can you.

Thanks Stella! Great meetup. It was really helpful and enjoyable. I'd be up for meeting once a week or once every 2 weeks for 2 hours each session. The cafe was cute too.

Ditto! I don't know why, but I'm fascinated by the formal/informal thing.
