1st 2014 Park Picnic

1st 2014 Park Picnic!

Saturday, January 11, 2014

10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

800 S Almansor St, Alhambra, CA (edit map)

(This is a cross-posted event with LA Asian Professionals)

Join LA Asian Professionals for a day of fun, food, and games!  Got Picnic, Games, and Priceless Weather?  Yep. . we got that. It'll be close to 80 degrees and cloudy, wouldn't you rather be here with us or stuck in (-) windchill degrees on the East Coast?

Meet fellow students and professionals, catch up with old friends, and enjoy a delicious potluck!  Summer is year round in California, and the cool winter months combine for perfect picnic weather.

Can't come by 10:00?  No problem.  Games and activities will be held throughout the day. We'll be here 'till sunset.

Bring your favorite dish to share.  Meats, rice, noodles, fruits, veggies, cake – it's all good.  If you can't think of something, bring $15 to the picnic.

Please do not bring the following items: chips, water, plates, utensils, cups, and napkins.  The organizers will provide them.

Please fill in what dish you will bring: POTLUCK SPREADSHEET

We have Volleyball, Capture the Flag, Croquet, and Ultimate Frisbee.  If you have Tennis/Badminton Rackets, Footballs, or Basketballs, the park supports that too.

As a bonus we'll once again be hosting our beloved Olympic Games.  Come join us for a winter triathlon!

Where to Find Us

One Last Thing

Almansor Park is really an awesome venue.  It's a family environment with a large open grass space, picnic tables, BBQ grills, restrooms, outdoor basketball and tennis courts, horseshoe pits, and a jogging course.  And parking is free.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
