JAPANESE FONDUE!

(http://www.yelp.com/biz/yojie-japanese-fondue-and-sake-bar-los-angeles or

This place serves both shabu shabu and sukiyaki, as well as fondue! I am dying to try their green tea white chocolate fondue. They have angus beef  and even kobe-"style" beef. Their sake selection seems rather decent, as well, for those sake lovers out there. Each pot at the table will be the half-half split-bowl style (half shabu shabu, half sukiyaki).

Since they do tend to charge for things like tea ($2.50), the "extras" individual people could potentially order can add up real quick. I have put down a deposit of $5x28 people=140 USD for this reservation. When the bill comes, I am going to make sure that $5 per person deposit I have made is paid back to me (Curi). You can look at the link above for their menu and their prices. Also, they will charge us $50 IN LATE FEES if the majority of our party is late by 15 minutes!! If we get charged a late fee, I will be splitting that late fee among the people who came over 15 minutes late! So, don't be late! If you know you absolutely cannot help being over 15 minutes late, tell me that in the comments because they will allow for courtesy notification over an hour earlier. They automatically add 20% gratuity to our bill since we are a "large party".

For the fondue, they have fruit and pastries, strawberries and bananas, etc. They have non-fondue desserts, as well: mochi ice cream, green tea ice cream, other ice cream, ice cream floats, fudge sundaes, bananas foster with banana bread.

If, for some reason, you are unsatisfied with their selections or if you want to bring your own beer or wine (no liquor), corkage fee is $10 per bottle (and, you'd pay your own corkage fee since you wanted to bring the bottle....)

PARKING: they offer free parking (2 hours' worth) in the parking lot across the street (and only that particular lot) at Grand and Olympic. You must notify the parking attendant you are dining at Yojie. You will get a parking voucher/your parking validated.

Let's have some fun with the fondue and drinks!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
