READ THIS: The last time a handful of us went shotgun shooting outdoors, it was a blast! So now we're back hungry for more. Yes, it sounds intimidating, but you get the hang of it very quickly and crave more. SO DON'T MISS OUT ON LEARNING HOW TO SHOOT A SHOTGUN AT MOVING TARGETS AND GETTING PLENTY OF PRACTICE!
NOTE: Both Paul and I have been regulars at this outdoor shooting facility and are club members. THAT MEANS NICE DISCOUNTS AND COST SAVINGS TO OUR MEMBERS ON MOVING TARGEST AND AMMUNITION. So what's your excuse?
Thanks to the collective firepower of our group members (Ivan, Daniel, John, Kevin, and myself), we've fired off 9mm, .38, .40, .45, and .22 caliber pistols and rifles. Now it's time to pump up the action against moving targets with shotguns! This is much more adrenaline heart pumping fun and literally a blast so you don't want to miss this.

WHAT TO EXPECT
** The thrill and excitement of shooting at moving targets in a large, open outdoor space
** Plenty of support and instructions from members who know both gun safety and had firearm training
** If you are new to shooting, don't worry. By the time the day is over, you will have learned to become much more familiar and comfortable shooting shotguns. With shooting, you cannot be shy. But you'll be more relaxed, composed, and focused as you get into your stance, square your shoulders, lean slightly forward, and squeeze the trigger for sonic boom.
** Sporting Clays
The next best thing to shooting in the field, our sporting clays area is a mile-long walking course that offers spectacular ridgeline views as it winds through an old-oak forest. The two full courses include 21 stations, with the targets thrown at each station simulating a different type of game, including dove, quail, pheasant, even rabbit. While sporting clays is a favorite for groups, our computer programmed, cord-activated target system means you can also walk the course solo.
When it's time to take it easy, the place for fine food and drink is our relaxing Oak Tree Bar & Grill, where banquet facilities are available for fully-catered parties of up to 150 guests. Or, take advantage of our shady, barbeque-equipped picnic area: you can provide your own food and do it yourself, or we'll prepare everything for you. And before the sun sets, you might want to hook-up at our RV park, and simply stay the night.
For anyone who was ever interested in discovering the thrill and excitement of shooting, this is your opportunity! This is for both beginners who want to learn the basics as well as more seasoned shooters who want to enjoy the company of shooting with others as well as enjoy the sport outdoors!
This event will be gender balanced. We'll have teams of 5 shooting at a time.
