About a 3 hour hike through the stunningly gorgeous, breath-taking Topanga Canyon State Park. It features of 36 miles of hiking trails through open grasslands and live oaks, with constant views of the vast Pacific Ocean. You'll get a pleasant workout and beautiful scenery!
First we'll on the Eagle Rock trail (about 2.0 miles) which is an uphill hike, which leads to a massive rock that rises above most of the park. There are a number of small cavesin this rock that is a great place for a break because of the shade.
Then we'll head back on the adventurous Santa Ynez trail that will wash you in scenery. It requires hiking through a bunch of different trees and plants, hopping across streams (expect to get your feet wet), and a little bit of climbing and sliding. but it leads to a beautiful waterfall, which comes with a rope to help you climb it.
Afterwards, we will be having lunch at the Reel Inn Seafood Restaurant off PCH in Malibu for some fresh, tender, and juicy fish! This restaurant is on the way home and only 6 miles away. For more details and to sign up, click here.
