To kickoff the NEW SNOWBOARDING SEASON, in November we are going to ....

Big Bear Mountain Resort

NOTE: If you are SERIOUS about snowboarding at Big Bear, I'm going to lock in group rates. The regular price for a full day lift ticket on Saturday is $59. However, the group rate price is only $40! But to get this discounted price, I need to collect money from the group. I WILL BE ONLY TAKING THE FIRST 15 PAYMENTS WITH SOME GENDER BALANCING. So if you want in on these cheap lift tickets, send a PayPal payment to me NOW!

After I collect the first 15 payments, you'll be on your own. You can still join us but you'll have to purchase your own lift tickets at the regular price of $59 instead of $40. TO PAY, FOLLOW THE DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS POSTED IN THE DESCRIPTION. Remember, the first 15 will only get in on this cheap deal!

Two more things. If you are a beginner, and want to take lessons, there is a package deal for only $56 at the group discount rate that also includes a lift ticket and rentals. Also, if your birthday is on this day, you get a free lift ticket.

Payment Instructions:

  1. Log into PayPal
  2. Click on Send Money tab
  3. Click on Personal tab

can u meet closer to long beach or park at calvin's place? I can pick both of you up there... if I go from his place to yours, it's like another 1/2 hour on top of a 2 hour trip.

    November 4, 2012

    • William P

Group rental rate is 20.00 for group of 15 or more. Given that we have more than 15 people attending.....it shouldnt be a problem. Reg rate is 25.00

      November 14, 2012

    • Jay

      Maybe too late now

      November 15, 2012

  • Paul

    • Jay

Paul, I haven't given any refunds yet. I'll refund all the payments I received by Friday.

We'll meet at 8 AM at the ticket window to buy our $35 lift ticket. See you there!

      November 14, 2012

  • Jay

Since we can purchase the lift tickets for only $35, we'll meet at the ticket window at 8 AM. That will be our meeting spot for the group. So see everyone there at 8 AM! For those getting rides, you'll need to communicate with you drivers on where to meet and what time you'll need to depart to meet the group by 8 AM.

    November 14, 2012

  • Richard

I just want to let you know that the opening day of Bear Mountain is next Monday, Nov 12~!!!!

      November 14, 2012

    • Richard

I'm a member of Bear Mountain Ski Patrol and I was up there last weekend to prepare the upcoming season. For now, the opening day of[masked] season is set for 11/15, weather permitting. Even though it gets pretty cold at night to low 30's, it's not cold enough during the day to start making snow yet. I'll keep you posted as soon as I hear from the mountain. GOT SNOW?

    October 31, 2012

  • Bay

Hi, to confirm, this trip is also good for beginner correct? Also, is this a one day event? thanks.

    October 18, 2012

    • Jay

This ski resort is a good place for beginners. So you should definitely come out for this. This will be a one day event.

      October 25, 2012

  • kiko

Do you think it's cold enough to keep the snow in november?

    October 18, 2012

    • Jay

The snow could be pretty good but I'll continue to monitor. If not, we'll just find another day to go.
