Volunteer @ Veterans Holiday Celebration

This is the largest Christmas holiday celebration for Veterans on the West Coast. We expect to feed 5, 000 active military, veterans, and family members. I'm looking for 10 volunteers to help out in the dining tents. You will serve, greet, help out in any way I can use you. This is my 3rd year volunteering with this event and I'm addicted. It is an awesome event that changes lives. If you want to help out and volunteer send me message and I'll send you the info to register for this event. The only way you can participate is if you register. Thanks! I'm looking forward in hearing from you.

    Awesome!!!! im so glad i was able to make this event...we had the most fun and fulfilling time. Thanks so much to Craig for thos opportunity! Spending some time w/ the vets was an honor and being able to do a little something for once was great. Ill be back next year!!!=)

    If you are traveling east bound on Wilshire the entrance is the turn-out before the 405 Southbound on ramp. At the bottom of the hill make a left into the Veterans Campus. Follow the signs to Volunteer parking.

    Your entrance into the event is the first right past the 405 fwy off of Wilshire going west. Once you get to the bottom of hill, you will turn right . . . follow the signs to the Veterans Holiday Celebration that will lead you to volunteer parking.

    Someone asked the question do we have to wear t-shirts? You can wear anything you're comfortable with. The only reason I mentioned red or bright color is because we need to stand out from the Veterans and their families. Thanks!

    Start Time: 11:00am (Orientation)
    End Time: 4:00pm – 5:00pm

    Address: 100 Constitution Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90095 Directions: Once you’ve entered the Veterans Campus follow the signs to the designated
    Parking for volunteers.

    I suggest you get there early to guarantee yourself a good parking space. If you check-in early, they may assign you to do something prior to the dining service. If they do this please call me and inform me of this.

    Attire: Wear a bright red t-shirt or any color that stands out, closed toed
    shoes that are comfortable, full-length pants, and no tank tops.

    Valuables: Please leave purses and bags in the trunk of your car. There is no storage
    in the dining tents.

    Event: Location is across from the Jackie Robinson Stadium

    Check-In: Registration

    Meetup Location: The dining tent #2 @ 11am

    If you want to arrive to the event early and help out volunteering feel free to do. Just in the dining tent by 11am. They need extra help very much.
