Mad Asian Tacos! and Billiards in South San Jose - 3/3/12
Let's chill out at a very casual Asian Fusion place in the heart of South San Jose. I've recently met the nice folks who own this place, and wanted to set up a meetup to check them out. Prices are quite affordable and the place itself is very cool, modeled after a "Mad House," where folks wear straight-jackets and such. :) Well, it's a Saturday Night, let's get mad, eat some fusion grub, enjoy each others company, and go from there.
Afterwards, let's head over to the bustling and busy '300' where we'll play billiards (pool), grab some snacks and drinks, and chill out. If people want to bowl instead, we can definitely do that, but the place is quite expensive for bowling, although a lot of fun and very hi-tech. Of course, if people just want to hang out, there's a bar/lounge there as well.
Let's plan for a group of 20, equal gender. I'll size it up if demand is high.

Lucinda: I'm glad you are coming out to dinner =) The Quesadilla's are a must at Rhinoz. You don't have to play pool...there are a ton of other stuff to do there. They have some video games and air hockey. I will probably be lounging around the bar area, so you can join me. If you never been to 300 you should really check it out!

Hi All,
We're getting close. FYI, I reserved a private area at '300' called 'The Back 9' for us. We'll have 2 lanes, as well as access to a pool table. To bowl, it's $10/game + $5 for shoes (expensive, I know) and the pool table is $15/hr. We'll have a lane captain there to take drink/snack orders if people are interested. Reservation is under my name at 9pm.

Jenn...paintball does not hurt if you take cover or don't advance into enemy territory or shot the other guys first or cheer the people who got shot... in other words... don't get shot. But seriously it's very safe and they provide all the protective gear and it great to get rid of all your old sweat shirt or long sleeve shirt, jeans or sweat pant, and tennis shoes.

Paintballs can hurt, but they have beginner sessions where they turn down the firing pressure. After all, they cater to families so even kids play as young as 10 years old. I would totally go if we can take up the entire area so we know who we is shooting us, but for my sake, who I am shooting at. :)

Sure I'll set this up if there is interest. The guns are set to low pressure. The high pressure are for the pros and they play on a different field.
