Introduction

I would love to meet other Asians and learn different cultures, and of course eat delicious new foods! I'm generally quiet but warm up very quickly.

This group is for Asians 30s to mid 40s to meet other Asians at social functions. What Asian country did your family originally come from? Please don't write Asia/Asian

I'm ethnic Korean.

Tell everyone about yourself. What do you in your free time? What are your interests or what do you do for fun?

I enjoy playing and watching sports, cars, eating ethic foods.

If you didn't grow up in the Bay Area, what other parts of the US or the World did you live in?

The Bay Area is my home, but I've lived in Korea when I was little.

Feel free to suggest event ideas on the Main page. Please provide thoughtful answers to the questions above. People do read your answers and want to learn something about you before the Meetup event. Have a great time meeting new people!

Hiking and dining events, sporting events, cultural education events.

  • David, Welcome to the Sport & Social League. We are in the middle of registering for two sports. Both Dodgeball and Volleyball is open for next season. Feel free to sign up by yourself or with friends. You'll have a blast playing and meeting new people. Registration closes next week.

  • Thanks...it was a pleasure meeting you as well! We were at the outlets for awhile, but yeah, the place is huge and I can see how it can be hard to meet up with people there. As for meeting up for food and tea - FUN!! Let me know when you're free!!

  • Hope this helps...feel free to use my bat till you buy yours. This bat is expensive but its definitely worth every penny. I've used the Freak for about 5 years now (used my friend's before I bought my own) and frankly can't see myself using any other bat.

  • I bought mine 5 months ago USED from the East Coast...about 30-50 swings on it on Ebay for $250. I think brand new is $400 so I feel I got a pretty good deal. Other than Ebay, I was also looking around on Craigslist but didn't find any good deals at the time. Also, the Big 5's of the world apparently don't carry this bat so your best bet is to find it online. This bat is 34 in long and comes in 27-30 oz. (Mine is a 27 oz).

  • Hey David,

I've fallen in love with this bat and would definitely use it with confidence in closed-combat situations. I've got a Miken Freak 98 ORIGINAL (not Turbo, Super, Plus, or whatever others they have come up with since). It is the only one of the Freaks that is ASA approved (besides the one that came out new this year...Kely has it). One thing to be prepared for is to shell out some dough to buy this guy.
