Irrfan Khan in Conversation (London Indian Film Festival 2013)

One of my favourite Bollywood actors, Irrfan Khan epitomises the changing face of cinema in India. The BFI blurb on the event;

A graduate of India’s National School of Drama, Irrfan Khan had a quiet beginning in Indian television and arthouse features, arriving on the international scene in Asif Kapadia’s 2001 BAFTA-winning The Warrior. Notable performances include The Darjeeling Limited, Slumdog Millionaire, A Mighty Heart, Vishal Bharadwaj’s Macbeth adaptation Maqbool, Life of Pi and The Amazing Spiderman, and the HBO series In Treatment; he also won India’s National Award for Best Actor for playing an athlete turned bandit in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s 2010 Paan Singh Tomar. Khan will share his experiences in the British, Hollywood and Indian film industries with director Asif Kapadia.

    For those of you that can make it, I will be at Le Pain Quotidein from 1930, tomorrow, Saturday. I will also hang around at the Riverfront Bar at the BFI post event if anyone is up for a drink. See you tomorrow. I am on[masked] in case you can't find me or in case you are wondering what to do with that pitcher of Pimm's :-)

    Saw Irrfan Khan yesterday at the opening night of the festival and he was in good form

    Hallo folks, anyone up for a pre-event bite / drink at Le Pain Quotidein (on the 'festival terrace' not far from the BFI) on Saturday? I was thinking of getting there for 1930. Please let me know if you can make it and I will make a booking. I am on[masked] in case you have any questions
