Sounds like I missed out .. U Srinivas has been a favourite of our family for a long time now. Have been to his concerts in Mumbai and chennai previously..

Thank you for coming folks. I enjoyed the concert immensely as well. For me the real star of the evening was U Shrinivas on the mandolin - understated, supremely skilled and incredible riffs. Shankar Mahadevan surprised me too, was much better than I thought he might be in the context of a classical Jazz band. Zakir Hussain is of course incomparable

Yeah, he was terrific as well though I felt his solo went on for a bit. Did you not feel the same?

Well if somebody is infront of Zakhir Hussain they need a bit more time to show case their talent. What somebody does in 30 mins ZH probably does in 10 mins

great show yesterday..5 mesteros on same frequency.

Did you guys listen to this recording of 80s...This is how John sounded 30 years back with another legend Peco de lucia( flamenco God) and Al di meolo....

may be most of you heard it...but posting it if ,by chance, you never listened it...it is a genius master piece.
