Black Book Swap November 2012

A few friends of mine and I are organising a Black Book Swap and we would love for you to be there.

For tickets see: http://blackbookswapnovember2012.eventbrite.co.uk

You'll have the chance to hear from an eclectic line up of talented authors including:

Dorothy Koomson the UK's most successful Black author whose latest book 'Rose Petal Beach' was published last month.

DD Armstrong an emerging talent who wrote 'Lynch’s Road', a novel set in west London that paints a gritty picture of urban life.

Courttia Newland a well established writer whose new book 'The Gospel According to Cane' will be published early next year.

Noo Sara Wiwa, author of ‘Looking for Transwonderland: Travels in Nigeria’.

As well as hearing from novelists you’ll also have the chance to learn about new non-fiction from Andrea Stuart whose family memoir 'Sugar in the Blood' was published earlier this year to considerable critical acclaim and Jenny Garrett a motivational coach who recently published Rocking Your Role, a how to guide for female breadwinners.

We’ll also have a large selection of books to swap or buy so remember to bring along books that you’ve enjoyed and are willing to part with.

Tickets are available at http://blackbookswapnovember2012.eventbrite.co.uk
