A great girl friend of mine, Madliene Haim, is a photographer and let me tell you: she is an ARTIST! She is going to be at this show displaying her work and it looks like there will be a ton of other great things going on too. I'm excited about this, and having never been to this location before I don't totally know what to expect. $8 cover but there may or may not be costs for parking and food... The event goes until 12:30 a.m. As of now I plan to get there about 8 p.m. - however, since I don't know what to expect (this is a little adventure): I may stay until the end or I may only stay for a couple of hours and go to a salsa social also in LA called Salsatopia after this to get my dance fix.

Salsatopia is another $8 cover, plus $1 tacos! - it is a great group of dancers that put this on, if you are interested in this then facebook search Salsatopia.  You will get your money's worth as the dancing goes on until 3 a.m.  - either way I'll probably go to the salsa social after the event... that is up in the air right now - I'm going to feel my way out through out the night - no set plans for salsa, but the art show is ON!  If you RSVP that you are going then I'll send you my cell phone so we can text one another so no one is left out of the fun.
