Planet-loving beach bum and science nerd. I've studied biology and medicine although my more recent experiences have been in music, business, and eCommerce. Change is the only constant in my life.
From the group profile, you appear to be a group of intelligent, active, fun group of people who are adventurous enough to try out a bunch of different activities but are geeky enough to plan your activities well. I've been in the city for 4 1/2 years but haven't really met anyone else who actually likes to do things outdoors or in daylight! I used to work in the music industry so most of the people I know hardly ever see daylight and they usually only get outdoors on their way to the clubs.
There's the beach bum side of me that would be happy living on some isolated tropical island studying coastal ecosystems and then there's the business woman who likes living in the middle of the buzzing, gritty city with everything at her doorstep. My main mission right now is figuring out how i can oscillate between the two for the next 20 or 30 years. When I'm not stressing myself out with that I'm a pretty fun and easy-going person. My friends say I'm too free-spirited for my own good.
Ecological conservation, sustainable land development, renewable energy, armchair cosmology, non-embryonic stem cell research. Does this qualify as geekish or just nerdy?
Yeah, it sucks we weren't able to meet at the show. And it totally sucked that my friend had to go to the hospital. I was unfortunately too drunk to be arguing with cops, and on afterthought, it was probably the safest thing for him to go, considering he did pass out 4 times in a row. Thanks again for suggestion the show, everyone we brought really enjoyed themselves.
Hi Aurora, Thanks for joining our meet up group. Check out the meet up schedule, we have a really fun party coming up at a hookah lounge with live electronic music and live visual performances.
