3rd Annual Astoria Zombie Walk

If you are new to Astoria, this event is a must see/do! A date and location hasn't been scheduled yet for this year, but the craziness usually happens the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Usually professional make-up artists are on site at Studio Square to turn you into a real freaky dead person. The service was donation based in the past years.

Creative costumes are HIGHLY encouraged as there is a costume contest before the walk.

Children and families are invited as the event is somewhat family friendly as long as your kids don't get scared easily!

The walk is usually about a mile or so and it's always fun to see the reactions of fellow Astorians ;)

ALL AGES ARE WELCOME FOR THE ZOMBIE WALK! (teenagers should be accompanied by an adult)

Take the R or M train to Steinway Street. Coming Manhattan the exit closest to the back of the train let's you out right in front of Bud's Ale House.

(21+) After Party will be at Hellgate Social - 5 bands, costume contest worth $50, drink specials and more!

- Free Makeup (donations gladly welcomed)
- Free Collectors button when you get your photo taken
- Terrorize NY!
- Raffle
- Costume Contests (Adult & Kids)
- After-Party!
- More surprises to be announced!

I will get to Applebee's around 12:30 pm. Will wear a red jacket. You can get there as early as noon and get your zombie make-up ready. I believe the walk starts at 2:00 pm. You can also show up as a zombie if not in the mood to wait around for the makeup artists.

This event will be packed. On their FB page there are already 100+ confirmed guests. At Applebee's you can get your makeup on, but if you don't like to wait around, be creative and do it your own zombie makeover! I never attended this before, only saw pictures and videos. I can not guarantee we all find each other. Call/text if you are there and can't find any Newbies[masked]-8953. Edina

I have a question about this: On the facebook site it says that it starts at 12:00. Is it one of those things where it starts early but nothing really happens until 2 or 3 or are you skipping the walking part and just doing the bar etc?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
