The publisher of Slow Wine, a guide to Italian wines that is related to the Slow Food movement, is holding a tasting on January 28. The tasting is $50 at the door, $35 if purchased on-line using the link below  and the discount code: “SWMeetUp”.  We will be linking up with the NYC Wine Tasting Group at this event.  There are 3 of planning on attending from our group at this point, and there are about 20 from the NYCWTG.  On Sunday evening, I will send a note as to where we will meet prior to the event as well as my phone number.

Here is the Slow Wine organizers’ description:

Slow Wine, the guide to Italian wineries approved as good, clean and fair by Slow Food Italy will be holding a walk around tasting event in New York City to support of the 2nd edition release of the Slow Wine Guide. Published by Slow Food Editore (the publishing arm of Slow Food Italy**), the Slow Wine Guide adopts a new approach to wine criticism and looks at a variety of factors to evaluate wineries in their entirety, taking into consideration the wine quality, typicity and adherence to terroir, value for money, environmental sensitivity and ecologically sustainable viticultural practices.

The walk around tasting will feature over 75 selected producers with 15 Italian regions represented. It will be held at Three-Sixty° (10 Desbrosses St, New York), on Monday, January 28th, 2013.

Here is the link, and don't forget the coupon code. http://slowwinenyc2013.eventbrite.com/. Promo code: SWMeetUp for your 30% discount off the price.

With the purchase of every ticket, attendees will receive a complimentary copy of the THE SLOW WINE GUIDE 2nd edition (a $25 value).

Well now, that was just fun! We found some of the folks from the other group and really did have a good time. The wine was good to, but the company even better!

Apparantly there aren't any tickets left. I confirmed this with Dan last evening. Bummer as there were a few more people that wanted to join!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
