NYC Autumn Wine Festival

Thanks to Craig L. here is the $79 special offer link from Time Out

The don't have the current list, but they do have a list from last year's winter festival so you can take a look at the long list of wines.  It will be a strategic event as it will be impossible to drink 200 wines!

The Festival is $99 per ticket up until 7 days before the event (Friday), after that it is $109 per ticket.  There are two options for this festival, an afternoon and an evening option.  I will be attending the evening option.  If you want to attend the evening option and want to know who is going, please email me and I will set up the afternoon options on Meetup so you can see who will attend with you and you can arrange to meet up with the group!

You will have to get your tickets online.

That was a very well put on wine tasting event with great appetisers, a great jazz band, and really over 200 wines. There we not too many people or too little. It was really well done. I met the folks who ran it and they promised discounts for our group for their next event in February! They do the Autumn and Winter in NYC and then have 4 in NJ. If any of you will want to go to the NJ events email me and I will work with them for the discounts.

I waited too long - can't get that 79 dollar deal.......I'll think about the evening option...not sure if I'm up for it at full price.

Too bad I already bought a ticket through the website for $100. I'll be there so let me know where the group will be so I can stop by and say hi.

Yes, we will. I have just been super tied up and haven't negotiated with a restaurant for the next vertical event. We though will cover Domaine and Claret in the next few months, and then another >90, <$20.

Glad you both are doing well!

    Hi Kelly and fellow Oenophiles,

Hope everyone had a wonderful, albeit way to short, Summer.

Sorry we've not been at any events all Summer. Ann and I as some know, met thru AW&S, celebrated our 1st Anniversary in July, and moved in together (24th Ave by Astoria Park!) in Dec. A big move consolidating 2 homes. Then we both joined coaching school (iPEC) and now all these months later we're both Certified Professional Life coaches and I'm also a certified Small Business Coach.

So there's been little time to even buy wine for home let alone attend Meetups unfortunately. But all for a good cause AS WE'RE OPEN FOR BUSINESS. (

But back to AW&S, Will you be having more events in Astoria? We'd love to attend again now that our time is starting to free up.

    All the best,
    Steven & Ann
