We got put in the kids room! Everyone says to come to The Spot anyway. We'll be there within 20 minutes or so.
This will be my first time attending, look forward to meeting you guys.

Ahh, new members! If you can make it, a bunch of us usually go over to The Spot in Groton after the meeting.

I'm not familiar with it, what sort of place is it?

It's a beer and bar food type place.
Ah okay, yea I might come along, as long as it wouldn't be too weird to go there and not drink.
Brian, it would not be weird not to drink. We go to eat and hang out. Looking forward to meeting you.
Yeah, there's usually a few people that don't drink.
Sounds good. Thanks for the warm welcome. I was part of a similar group in my hometown in the Midwest, and enjoyed the like minded company there. I am fairly new to Connecticut and I don't really know anyone here. Seemed like a good solution :) Glad this group exists.
Welcome to CT. My wife and I actually moved here over the summer without knowing anyone, so I understand the feeling. There are a few other newbies as well.

A local group for freethinkers, atheists and non-believers in the RI and eastern CT area.
I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
