Clinton is a youth pastor who has been coming to our meetings. I asked him if he wanted to give a talk, he suggested a Q and A. He's not preachy, he just enjoys discussing religion.

I have not been to any of the RI meetings because I do not want to eat at restaurant. I don't need to socialize with atheists. I have plenty of atheist friends. I have gone to Worcester, Ma because they have lectures. Is this pastor a UU minister who is also an atheist? If not, why give time to a believer? They all ready run everything in this country.

      Hi Will,

Clinton is not an atheist UU minister, but an open-minded theist who enriches our discussions. It's a pretty open-minded group. While members do enjoy socializing with each other in these monthly gatherings—and by the way, one is not obliged to order anything from the restaurant, though most of us do—we have had presentations from time to time. Clinton was invited to make one and he opted for Q&A. We're looking forward to it!

Thank You! After I posted my statement, I hoped I was not offensive. I cannot make it tonight, but may you all have a great discussion.

Do all of the monthly meetings meet at this restaurant? I live in Charlestown and am hoping that some might happen closer to me.

We meet here, and try to have other social gatherings throughout the area.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
