This could be the last chance to build a Solar Power Plant in Australia for the next 8-12 years. A solid proposal has been developed to replace coal plants with 6 solar thermal plants and 95 wind turbines. This will create 1800 jobs, save 5 million tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions, improve the health of the local community and ensure energy security and stable electricity prices. Come along to hear how this will be done and how you can help!

The Wheatsheaf doesn't serve meals so either eat beforehand, bring something along, or order from the many take-away menus at the bar!
From Bruce: there's a little restaurant called The Deli (it's not an actual deli!) across the road from The Wheaty that does takeaways. It's just a little trendy, but otherwise does good nosh - although I've only sampled from the vegetarian part of their menu. Burgers, chips, wedges, nachos, pizzas - it's pretty much pub food.
Goes down well with a beer from a microbrewery.
Transport: come by Tram and walk 150m or catch the B10 bus from Currie St to be dropped at the front door.
