Re: [Atheists-of-Richmond] Atheist Movie Night tomorrow! :)

For me, as an atheist, fairness and equality are default values because
there is no cosmic or transcendental force that elevates or devalues any
particular group of people over/under another.

It is precisely because there is no god that equality and fairness are respected.

When
you introduce god into society, subsequent ideas about "chosen people"
and "blessed people" create hierarchy and classes which lead to
discrimination and tyranny by the self righteous.

Subject: [Atheists-of-Richmond] Atheist Movie Night tomorrow! :)

Hi everyone,
This is just a reminder that we will be having our revival atheist movie night tomorrow, where we'll be watching The Invention of Lying and Idiocracy. We already have 15 people signed up to come, so it should be a lot of fun! We will be ordering pizzas at 7 pm before the movies start, so please bring $5 if you would like to participate. Also, please bring anything you plan on drinking.
Please update your RSVP if you are signed up and can no longer attend, and please RSVP if you plan on coming, but are not yet signed up.
Best,
Drew
