Intro to ClojureScript

ClojureScript is a compiler that converts Clojure code to JavaScript.

As Clojure is hosted in the Java environment and can call Java libraries, ClojureScript runs in a JavaScript environment and can call JavaScript libraries.

This means that we can write Clojure code to run anywhere JavaScript will run such as in a browser, on Node.js or even as a mobile app.

But how do we get started?  Come find out.

I have added the code from the demo to github:

I also wanted to share the link to the ClojureScript tutorial series that I kept mentioning:

Also, if you want to see a good demo of working through a ClojureScript project on both the client and the server, check out this talk by Bodil Stokke:

Forgot to include the room in the location -- room #1010 on the 10th floor. There's on-street parking in the surrounding area plus various nearby pay lots.

Don't park on the street - you're better off (cheaper, no time limit) parking at the lot on 5th between Spring and W Peachtree.

Hi y'all! I'd love to attend / talk but can never make Tuesdays. Any chance we could do the next meeting on another day of the week?

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
