Go to the Movies to see Black Nativity

In a contemporary adaptation of Langston Hughes, a celebrated play, the holiday musical drama BLACK NATIVITY follows Langston (Jacob Latimore), a street-wise teen from Baltimore raised by a single mother, as he journeys to New York City to spend the Christmas holiday with his estranged relatives Reverend Cornell and Aretha Cobbs (Forest Whitaker and Angela Bassett). Unwilling to live by the imposing Reverend Cobbs, a rules, a frustrated Langston is determined to return home to his mother, Naima (Jennifer Hudson). Langston embarks on a surprising and inspirational journey and along with his new friends, and a little divine intervention, he discovers the true meaning of faith, healing, and family.

Actual movie time will not be posted until Tuesday night, according to Phipps.  Once posted, I will make any necessary updates.  Also, the tickets should be $7.00, if the price remains the same.  Hope to see you at the theater.  Any questions, feel free contact me by email through this site, or give me a call at 678.231.4973.

    Hi Bill,

I am sorry to have missed you. I had planned to come see it with family but we weren't able to make it in time.

This morning I appeared at the movie lobby at 10:00 am and saw no one. Did the meetup movie get canceled?

How can I get tickets in advance?

I think you can go to Fandango or AMC Stubs to get advance tickets. For the early show, I don't think you will need advance tickets...at least I hope not, I have not purchased mine in advance. Hope to see you at the theater in the morning!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
