Free Admission - The Kinsey Collection - Atlanta History Center

As the nation observes the Civil War Sesquicentennial and the fiftieth anniversary of the passage of the Civil Rights Act, the Atlanta History Center partners with Wells Fargo (NYSE: WFC) to present their traveling exhibition, The Kinsey Collection: Shared Treasures of Bernard and Shirley Kinsey, Where Art and History Intersect.

The Kinsey Collection includes artifacts and works of art commemorating the artistic, historic, and cultural contributions and progress of African Americans. The exhibition seeks to dispel myths and promote dialogue about the role of African Americans in the making of America. Wells Fargo and the Atlanta History Center invite visitors to contemplate the objects displayed and to reflect on the progress that African Americans have made in civil rights and social justice, as well as consider the work remaining to achieve equality.

My ticket had a time for admission (12pm). I hopefully I can come any time after that.

Click on the link provided in the post and scroll the date. I think it says 'to purchase tickets,' but when you scroll to May 17, it shows $0.00. Follow-through and print your ticket there.

I finally understand. I was looking specifically for admission to the Kinsey Collection....did not know I needed to click on general admission to the Atlanta History Center.

I wish I could. I've been waiting for an event like this. Unfortunately, I'm out of town on business.

I too am unsure as to how I should go about reserving my "free ticket". I clicked on the link provided but did not see anything referring to tickets to the Kinsey Collection.
