The Atlanta Atheists Meetup Group Monthly Meetup

  • Feb 24, 2013 · 4:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Who should come? Are newcomers welcome? Anybody who wants to! Why should people come? To meet fellow atheists/agnostics/freethinkers. Do attendees need to participate or can they just listen? People are welcome to just listen as they like. I am sure everybody will have something to contribute. How will members find you when they get there? Personnel at the brewpub will direct them. We usually meet in the "Cellar" area.

Got an idea, someone should announce switch, and anyone ready to switch seats get up at the same time, and find new seats.

Very good. Set up (one long table) was not condusive to broader conversation, however.

I had a great time, only regret is that I did not get to speak with the folks at the other end of the great table we assembled tonight.

Yes, I think next time we should switch seats at some point.

Usually people switch once. Re switching seats; I tried to start an atheist meetup to coincide with a tango dance I host, but not enough people are interested (do I'm dropping this). People would continually switch around, if only a small percentage dance.

My first time! I am a new atheist and felt quite welcome! Very friendly and open!

I'm trying to get there, but am more of a maybe now. Am trying to finish some work obligations before liberating myself for the evening!

My very sweet and progressive believer-mother will be in town, so I'm tentative...but you very well may end up seeing BOTH of us there!
