I thought it was an interesting talk, i.e., witchcraft accusations in Africa. But I understand not everyone is so interested in the subject. One AFS member thought it would be better to cover a subject that is more applicable here in the USA.

Hi...I've been a devout atheist all my life. Originally from England..what am I doing in Georgia? :o
Can anyone help me with info about these meet-ups? I would like to come, but am not very good with "groups."

Oh, I've never been to a meeting...it's what my friends in England describe to me. Smyrna is a bit of a distance for me. Is there anything more northern (Canton/Woodstock/Acworth area) where meetings take place?

Smyrna and sandy springs are the largest regular meetings.. 20 minutes drive isn't that bad.. Unfortunately, and I'm being serious, we don't have atheist meetings all over the pkace .. There may be something up your way though. Because I remember seeing some mention of north Georgia meetings (not sure the location).

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
