Beer Dinners

Has anyone gone to the beer dinners at Taco Mac?  Just wondering how
they are.  I have not been to one, and I don't think at $50 a head
most of my friends would be interested (not big craft beer fans).
Just trying to get a feel for them, if they seem worth it, etc.
