Thanks for the feed back. It is much Appreciated. I think some one opened the door and the owner got mad and turned off the ac and opened the other door. From every Thursday of my running a game there it is cooler with the ac on and the doors shut.

I can proly talk to the owner about locking the back door which is the one people love to open the back door. I can ask every one if they would like to chip in on the ac bill on the next meet up.
I know. I got all my hair cut off. I'll make my self known more next time as I'll come early.  I gave a ride to some one and was kinda on time. And I forgot about the cat. I'll note that in the next meet up page.

Todd has a good point. Mike you sure didn't look like your picture. Overall; good times! An introduction would have been cool, but I came 30 minutes late so I thought that was probably done already! Oh; we need to figure out food. I can't live on candy and soda! :D I was a bit jealous to see the other group all stop at the same time, leave the store and come back with food. While our group would have played until we all became undead from lack of nutrition! Again, I say... Good Times! :D

You can get the # of the wings place on the meet up page for the 7th. You can have them deliver it to the nest as well. I'll post the china dragon # when I go the on turesday to run D&D Encounters. They deliver as well. But the store doesn't allow outside drinks. I think that was the only time have ever had to go with out dew distortion, tyflosion, or white out. I'll tell Jonathan(the owner) to be sure to have plenty next time around.

Actually 3 players decided to make a food run on thier own (which was fine with me) and even offered to bring me something back. The food run was fast & really didn't take that much time away from the game table. I think if I DM'd any future games I would try and allocate a 15-20 min break into the game session (for food run or smoke break or to stretch the legs).

I noticed the "No Outside Drinks" sign on the door, so I left the Dr Pepper I'd got from Chick-fil-a in the car, but I noticed that the people at the table closer to the register all had huge drinks, obviously from outside. That bothered me a little bit, since that Dr P went to waste (was warm and flat by the time I left). Horribly sad end for such a tasty drink.

Marc, you did good for your first time. I have noticed that 4th edition is very kind to new players. Great pictures, btw.

Hey Mike, I really like the "Character Builder". I'm modifying the character you gave me (Gaaki). I also like the inventory feature. What was the experience points we gained that day?

I believe it was 248 something. I'll ask the other players what they wrote down.

This was my first time playing D&D, so what can I say. I had an excellent time and I look forward to more encounters! Thanks Mike for walking me through!

I'm glad I came out. The people were great and the game was fun. Air conditioning would have been nice, though. Was it on to start, and then they turned it off and opened the doors? I can imagine that cooling the place with all those people there would drive up their electric bill. Maybe we can donate some cash to them at each meetup for them to keep it on?

Game/players: Although I got 4 out of the 5 players I wanted to have for my D&D 3.5 game; they turned out to be a GREAT group of players and I had an ejoyable time DMing for them. I think we all had a really fantastic time with my game and I was able to complete the adventure within the 5 hours I allocated for it. (Great goup of like minded people to meet that enjoyed the D&D game.) Organizer(s): Michael and the owner should have took a brief moment to stop things and introduce themselves as to who they were for everyone. (Michael you sure didn't look like your picture. LOL) Location: Too hot even with two doors open. Plenty of sodas to choose from (but no Mountain Dew). 4 - 5 gaming tables with plenty room to play. Cat could be a problem for those that have cat/dog hair allergies. All in all good location to have a Meetup at.
