INFPs represent approximately 1% of the population, a rare group indeed! That means we are spread out all over the city, making it challenging for us to meet without some travel and inconvenience. Previous meet-ups have primarily been held at coffee shops and restaurants where we talk about a broad range of topics from the perspective of the highly-sensitive, intuitive, idealistic, introvert. Future meet-ups for 2012 will continue in these venues as well as new ones. Day hikes and nature walks make for excellent opportunities to commune with nature, be at peace, and quietly carry on conversations that most others could not understand. Major themes for this year will include creating personal fulfillment, embracing joy, finding meaningful work, deepening our connections with ourselves, and how best to share our rich inner world with others. Challenges for the INFP include feeling indecisive about our life journey, existential angst regarding our search for purpose, anxiety about how to juggle what society expects from us with our natural desire to isolate ourselves from the world. Ultimately, life's richness comes from our connections with our ideals, our dreams, our closest friends and family, and not from wealth seeking, or the every day doings that draw us out. Yet we must live in both worlds, so let's figure it out together. This group will support a very special group of people, who's perspective makes the world a better place to live in for everyone.
