Can you carry on a conversation in Japanese?

Yes, but I hardly ever speak Japanese because I have had no one to talk to, so I just kept a Journal, play the music, watch dramas etc but VERY little speaking. My Japanese vocabulary is very small so I can't carry on a deep conversation.

What level is your Japanese ability?

Intermediate beginner. I can read and write Katakana and Hiragana but I have a very hard time with Kanji.

Hello. I am Christopher and I have been trying to teach myself Japanese for a year now. I love many aspects of Japanese culture and it's my goal to visit in a few years from now. I consider myself an beginner (intermediate beginner).
