Whoa... no discussions? Woot, I am first!

Alright people, no discussions?? This will not do.

I am working on some interesting projects which will have product information from different manufacturers. Think of it as a library of products that may be tied to multiple ecommerce websites.

After reading about and watching different presentations on MongoDB, I am interested in seeing how we can incorporate MongoDB as the database for our library/catalogs(more than one).

Does anyone have any ideas, or insight into applying this technology into a blended architecture? MongoDB for semi-static catalogs and SQL databases for transactional processes like orders and statuses?
