Classical Revolution Atlanta Chamber Jam

Classical Revolution ATL is having a chamber jam at Thinking Man Tavern.  By its very nature, it is not known what musicians will be there or what they will play, but should be fun!  It's definitely a chance to hear chamber music in an informal setting by wonderful musicians.  And there's no cover charge---just order some food/drinks to encourage Thinking Man Tavern to continue to do this.

They describe their events as:

"Classical Revolution ATL events engage audiences by presenting classical music in formats and in venues—such as coffee shops, bars, and cafes—more commonly associated with popular music and jazz. While event formats vary widely, the heart of Classical Revolution is the “chamber jam,” a chamber music reading session which often draws local professionals who enjoy the chance to read great music with colleagues in a low-pressure atmosphere, college music students who want to expand their performance opportunities and share the stage with accomplished professionals, and advanced amateurs who work outside of music but wish to have an outlet for their musical pursuits and meet other amateurs to form chamber groups. Some of the most exciting and memorable Classical Revolution performances take place when random musicians show up with their instruments and sit down to play together."

The concert starts at 8.  If you arrive much after 7, chances diminish that you will be able to sit with the group or even find us.  Therefore, I suggest you get there at 7.  This will allow us to have a relaxed dinner and visit before the concert starts.  I've heard they have good food and drinks, reasonably priced.  Menu here:

Please answer the question when you RSVP or put in your comments if you are going to come for dinner at 7.  Again, you are welcome to come later, but no guarantees that we can sit together/find each other (I am assuming that we can right at 7, but the restaurant doesn't take reservations).

I'm closing this to new RSVPs for dinner since I don't know that they can accommodate many more (and they don't take reservations).
